Take it gently and with a pinch of salt. Since lockdown prevents meetings for the moment, seize the opportunity to sus out a potential lover at leisure. Make sure you probe on possible mutual interests - not only sexual ones!

Take your time to craft a profile.. generic ones give the impression you will shag anybody, which even if true is probably not the impression you want to give.
Think ( hard) about how to make yourself stand out in a crowded marketplace... “I like the usual things” or “I’m looking for what you’re looking for” gets me pressing the block button. Take the time lockdown provides to get to know prospective lovers as people first, remembering that the best affairs are more than just sex.

Enjoy yourself and treat people as you would expect to be treated! If someone doesn’t show you the same courtesy, then move on to another member!

Expect rejection.
Have patience.
If you send a message, a reply is a bonus.
If you receive a message, reply, even if it is a polite, no thank you.
Do not expect a meeting to take place unless you are both there.
Do not assume any relationship will continue just because you both say would like to carry on.
A wonderful person may be out there for you, it can take 2 profiles or it can take longer ...
Be police, courteous and respectful. :-)
