Interesting.

Writing a profile is second nature but I am confident and like to talk.

I'm only trying the site out and this is my second day but I've found if you share your password and no one responds it can be slightly disheartening but it's only happened once.

But being 'in the mix' and messaging people can be fun. Literally do not take it too seriously or you will feel less desirable in the long run!

it make you realise you are a beautiful person again.
of course, i need to keep my ego on check, but it is such a powerful affirmation that prevents darks thoughts festering in your mind.
even if nothing came to realisations. Just the fact there are a beautiful woman, somewhere, that found you special and you reciprocate, is a major life significant.

I completely agree with you, if it is a one way street, it is good that you took the difficult decision to let go in the end. It is the best decision you took, there is no point in being with someone who makes you unhappy overall. I did have one previous relationship out of IE that I wish I had ended a long time before it ended, but I learnt I hope!

It is so difficult, we need to keep reminding ourselves that we are here to be happier and not let anyone make us feel more unhappy than before we joined this site. We joined to meet someone who makes us happy and we can make happy.
It takes time but there is someone good out there.
I didn't think it would happen but I found a lovely person I am very happy with. There is hope out there for all.

Women are the same - wizard-generated profiles (that often don't make sense), no (public) photographs and nothing on an "Ideal Partner". 5'2"-5'6" with a curvaceous body and "other" job! Choosing is hard and writing a personalised message is even harder! No wonder that some choose the blunderbus approach! But there's a diamond out there, somewhere...

It ‘a definitely a big reason- but sadly I have yet to meet anyone suitable on here!
Why do so many men have terrible photos or not even bother to personalise their profile or even say what they are looking for?!!

Totally...having that special secret someone with whom you can be someone other than "dad/husband", is a wonderful feeling. The fact that they want you, desire you & crave you is an absolute turn on ! x

I could have done with you a while ago. Been chatting for a a few weeks and was going to meet but a few hrs before he bailed … yes I felt sad put so much effort and emotion into the build up of meeting..after reading your post I have to realise that he’s the e one missing out and how i Value myself too I have a great grown up ie lover now where we can speak honestly and openly
