What a great post! I 100% agree if a lover is making you sad or upset or burdening you with their problems - I would def say move on.

My first affair from here - I had someone who was all about him and his issues his problems, and whilst we had some fun and great sex towards the end, I felt a very one way street. As it was my first affair from here (not my first affair) I feel it let it go on longer that it needed to. Now I know what I want and need from an affair and I am very up front with this so a prospective new affair knows what to expect and whether they want to embark on a journey or not, N

100% agree that there should be a feel good factor in all of this. Afterall we are here for a supplement to our life, not to add to the worries and anxieties that we already have.

All,
If you have met someone who makes you sad or who doesn't value you, you don't deserve that! They don't deserve you.
Most of are all here to find someone we feel good with, and that we make them feel good too.
There will always be some players, men and women, those people don't deserve you!
Always look out for early signs, don't ignore your gut feeling, do they go ages without even saying a simple hello?
I would always meet someone in a public place first, before deciding on second meeting, no matter how well I got on with them online (it did help a lot).
There is someone good out there for you.

And yes its hard sometimes, I'm still a bit on the floor after something quite bad that happened last week, and its really hurt me if I'm honest.. Very much so...

Well hello everyone, Reading through all the comments clearly some common themes developing.
Firstly can I say you are worthy of being looked after and respected be it a man or women on this site, you will always get players on here, believe me I have seen a few on here.
I know for many self esteem is on the floor don't believe you need to see someone to make you feel beautiful you already are.
Many a person on here older members or new go with your gut instinct and ask the difficult questions.
When you hitthe jackpot, and yes I have a couple of times on here it's so worth the effort.

So chin up people your right naughty person is there for you but remember be respectful and a politeness thank you goes a long way x

Been blocked twice in the last few days and not said anything offensive/untoward. Is this considered normal behaviour?
The last message I got back yesterday was” Catch you tomorrow have fun x” and now I’m blocked. Quite distressing after the effort it takes to make what I thought was a connection on here.
Oh well, I can vent that anywhere else 🤣
