"Same here he is able to start again how he chooses, our quality of life though the floor."
Yes … mine too.
"not in my case the one with power and money STILL has the control"
Sorry to hear that.
Mine has those but NO control over my life and he's sorry now and is being very nice to me.

"It's a choice you make.
I'm glad I made that choice but don't think that the awful ramifications were fairly distributed."
Unfortunately not in my case either."

"" my life is my own now, to do as I choose so I choose freedom and enjoyment "
My sentiments exactly."

Mine! Great sex life but I just shut up and put up until last year (31 years married -37 together)
He used to say I used to let people walk all over me but really he was worse!!
As for expiry date .... I tried to stay as hard as I could “until death us do part” but if I hadn’t left it probably would have been my death one way or another as he became more physical in last 18 months...
HotChoco - 22 May, 2020 - 10:57AM I’m sorry to hear that xx

"MatureWorcsBBW - ... it's called a divorce... It's often painful and really horrible although it doesn't always need to be."
It depends on your situation .... 'tale of woe' and there is no longer any law to protect the children and I.
As soon as legal aid taken from divorce, power to the one with money.

Yes and no.
We can all ask for an expiry date, it's called a divorce.
I've done it myself.
It's often painful and really horrible although it doesn't always need to be.
It's a choice you make.
I'm glad I made that choice but don't think that the awful ramifications were fairly distributed.
I still miss living with my previous best friend but my life is my own now, to do as I choose so I choose freedom and enjoyment until someone else catches my eye who makes me want some commitment.

I was talking to a lady on Sunday and she said her marriage was over on the night of her wedding, but she stuck with him for 19 years
