It looks to me that marriage has expiry date but I have to acknowledge that very few never expires. Of course most of us would like and aspire for one that never expires

once the love and respect has run out, and those dependents have fled the nest. theres nothing left. thats the 'use-by' date
those that are sensible either make it work while its still 'in-date'
or get our while still 'in-date' is still attractive

@AA1RON
You are wrong.
There are two guarantees in life.
Death and Taxes

There are no guarantees in life and marriage is one of them.
The only expiry date is death and that is guaranteed..

βA study released from the University of Chicago found that, on average, unhappily married adults who get divorced are no happier five years later. In addition, about two-thirds of the observed unhappy marriages that stayed together actually turned around and became happy in the same time span.β
I think extra marital affairs can help us stay happily in our marriages.

The first meet, first flirt, first kiss, with a new friend, is amazing.
Getting to know what each other likes, etc, amazing π

I wonder if it becomes more of a marriage of convenience and a partnership?..... surely we all want to eventually have that fun companionship when weβre old and grey?.... well I do anyway! Until then Iβll be here π

Evening everyone π for me most things have an expiry date, marriage back in the day from what I hear was you just got on with it, tolerate, but now we have more choices, more social ways to connect so if the grass looks greener then youβd kinda understand people would step over and find out for sure

I appreciate that it isn't easy.
It wasn't easy for me but I had no choice, it's what he wanted.
And you're right, the one with the money has all the power unfortunately.
But for me, I don't regret any of it now. My life is my own.
And now I'm only looking for some uncomplicated sensuality.
Especially if I don't have to cook his dinner and iron his shirts π π π
