Having an affair changed my life. The woman I started seeing earlier this year trained for marathons and got me into running.
What is the biggest lifestyle change that has come out of an affair for you?

@Paula
Its a bit like being on holiday. You can concentrate on each other, spend time doing what you both really want to do, try new things and experiences and focus on fun and pleasure rather than the mundane baggage, routine and over familiarity that is inevitably and unavoidably part and parcel of home life.

Having an affair changes your perception on everything...you are on the outside looking in and you can make an informed choice...without all of the drama of a normal relationship.👍

Change of attitudes, being more emotionally in tune with my own needs came out of having my affair. Now if there’s something that turns me off with someone’s behaviour I run a mile - no one needs to be surrounded by negative behaviour life is too short x

Key of life
I don't think taking up fitness has got anything to do with divorce. I had a stressful job and I took up running and the feel good factor you get from being out in the fresh air is fantastic.
You do meet other runners it's like an addiction so I can see your point. Running is purely for me and my mind only. I also go to the gym and your far more likely to meet someone but I do try to avoid the 'meatpit'💪

I’ve had 3 long term affairs and I find them very energising for me an affair is like a shot in the arm. Never had an affair from IE and don’t really expect this time to be any better. I honestly don’t know what possessed me to believe it would be any different this time around.
I think they are all bored council house wives looking for a guy with money to lift them out of the life with the wife beater £200 for very medeocre chats is really not acceptable

Hi
Can I ask and of course if anyone wants to share.
Has anyone found that connections made on this site can be both "vanilla" and otherwise?

OP sounds like he’s heading for divorce lol , non runner meets a marathon runner then takes up jogging - Mrs would be onto that straight away , best limit the change to your lifestyle to smiling a bit more and generally looking a bit smarter , I believe that’s the intention of IE ..

The biggest change in my life was Covid thats where I parted company with my guy but the most important aspect is we are still great friends....when you find something good in your lifetime it's imperative you hold on to it...yes life is too short so get on the roller coaster and hold on tight..😊
