Novel?
Is it just me, or do you get bored of someone sending you a long essay for
a first message? I never bother to read it, cos gurantee probably bore you
to death in real life.
Not here to read a novel, make it nice simple and direct.

I don’t really bother anymore as most don’t reply anyway as a lot of women think they are gods gift and they are stuck up their own ass. Probably why the husbands lost interest .

No one wants to read an essay so simple answer shorten and summarise..
You are not trying to get an interview for a job so less of the CV shpeal..
Be yourself and think about the person reading it …🙄

My intros are normally 10 inches long.
And nobody ever replies.
So, I would recommend going for shorter or longer.

I honestly don't care whether it's a short few words or a long intro. I will always look at their profile and age AND the age ranges of what they are looking for. Middle aged men who have their age preferences from 21 upwards turn me off immediately. Not interested, and most of those haven't got a hope in hell. Men can say what they like, but I have no intention of getting into waste of time conversations if they don't attract me on their pics. Shallow, but that's how I feel.

It seems different people like different things.
If you have a definite preference for long or short, why not mention it on your profile?
You'd possibly get better messages, and it'd make it easier for those contacting you.

It’s got to be short and sharp, usually don’t read them if they’re more than 4 lines or so. . And that’s only if the first line gets my attention!

First impressons. A message should be precise and to the point, clean not smutty, it's the effort you make that counts. It's similar to going out wearing natty dirty shoes, nothing worse. I prefer to make the effort, she deserves it. Clean your shoes, smarten yourself up, get your act together.
