But I think I wasn’t clear either - all I meant is that we all here (I think) want these things. But the cause isn’t necessarily an unhappy marriage - it’s possible to have an otherwise happy marriage that is missing these things.

I suspect that we might be furiously agreeing with each other (but not being entirely clear about our agreement!)

You are never too old, I have learned that for myself. I have had 3 lovers since 2009 and been loyal to every one. Now looking for someone new in my life.

I don't think so, I've had affairs with guys in their 50s when I was like in my early 20s. Just depends on the people involved and what they're after xxx

Not really if two or three 70 year olds want to have fun like the rest of us who are we or anyone else to say they can’t plus there’s plenty out there who like age or experience

Age is no barrier. Age is all in the mind.

I know a couple who got married in their mid 80's

On IE though, if you are male an over 50 it will be a struggle on here. A lot women in their 50ms want a younger man.

One of issues some men have over 50 is ED. This site is predominantly for ladies looking for bedroom fun ED is a bit of an issue. No ladies on IE say they don't want floppy dicks 😀 but floppy dicks maybe one the reasons why they are on IE

Trust me I’ve just had an IE that at 66 he deserves a 5star rating .. shame we can’t rate them on here … sadly I don’t think I’ll find that ever again …..😢

You misunderstood or perhaps I didn't make myself clear.

As people get older they can lose their libido, or the physical ability. This can happen to men as well as women.

What I meant was that, even if you're not looking for sex anymore, you may still be looking for and need some form of intimacy that you're not getting in an unhappy marriage.

A kiss, hand holding, someone to put their arms around you, physical intimacy doesn't have to mean sex.
