Trust me I’ve just had an IE that at 66 he deserves a 5star rating .. shame we can’t rate them on here … sadly I don’t think I’ll find that ever again …..😢

You misunderstood or perhaps I didn't make myself clear.

As people get older they can lose their libido, or the physical ability. This can happen to men as well as women.

What I meant was that, even if you're not looking for sex anymore, you may still be looking for and need some form of intimacy that you're not getting in an unhappy marriage.

A kiss, hand holding, someone to put their arms around you, physical intimacy doesn't have to mean sex.

Not at all! If anything it seems to be something that more mature people indulge in shall we say - I seem to be struggling because of my apparently young age!

In general there is no limit. Look at all the people on here in their 60s and 70s still looking for a partner... however, the realistic problem as you get older is chronic illness. If you are in pain from arthiritis all the time then you are unlikely to want a lover... Men also face the obvious challenges of continuing to performing physically as they get older, which Viagra can help, but if you have not bothered maintaining any general fitness then that will become a big challenge... The prospects for older women are certainly more interesting as there will be many younger men with an interest in them if they are still interesting - that's probably not so true for elderly men... A man in his 40s with a woman in her 60s does not sound outrageous on this site!

I'm a mature guy looking for a mature lady for mutual pleasure and enjoyment.
Whilst there isn't the same level of thrashing that there once was, I can only consider that an improvement. Taking the time to make sure she receives the maximum pleasure and as many climaxes as possible only come from taking the time to explore her and find out what pleases. Maturity brings that knowledge and experience. I find lovemaking much more satisfying now than when I was in my 20s.
It's only my opinion and experience but there it is.

EmnEm123 Not necessarily an unhappy marriage either. It might be that you’re still very much in love with your partner, but your libidos are in different places. Under those circumstances you might find yourself here, juggling two relationships which have huge importance to you - and never the twain shall meet.

I think that can happen at any age - but it doesn’t have to be an unhappy marriage.
