Desirability
Does having an IE make you feel like you are more desirable as that was missing in your home life?

It doesn’t make you feel more desirable… it just makes your home/work life more chilled…😁

No it didn’t and no it wasn’t.

To each their own, I'd guess, but whilst I've felt more desired, I don't think I've felt more desirable. Having someone be interested in me has been great, and a great boost to mood, but I don't think it's made a difference to how I actually feel about myself.

Well if something like intimacy was seriously missing and now you've resolved the issue then in most cases, ask IE's and they will reply that actually they felt they were better able to contribute and deal with the situation at home proactively and responsibly

clearly there is a blue eyed man thing going on in this chat...
I love this comment from 'life is a beach':
'we are here to be happier and not let anyone make us feel more unhappy than before we joined this site'
I believe strongly that if you think something positive or good, say it, if you're thinking something negative, think really hard before you say it, trying to be constructive wherever possible. But here, best to keep it positive and sure, compliment each other on nice photos, good profiles etc etc... Of course, as others have said it does help when there is actual info in the profile and a picture to see, even if its pixelated.

Absolutely, and for some reason (completely evidence free) I imagine that men are more likely to do it. Whichever sex it is, it is much kinder - and less distressing - to admit to having second thoughts and let someone down gently without completely ruining their self esteem.

Re your last paragraph ... there are men who do that too ... as I have always said, both sexes are guilty of bad behaviour.

It really should do. I am new to the site, and yet to start messaging as I am getting a feel for how it all works first (different sites seem to have different expectations or cultures) but I would hope that anyone I do interact with feels better and more desirable for it, even if it just means having spoken to someone new who appreciates you. Getting views, VKs, messages and gifts is a nice feeling.
But anyone who arranges to meet and bails (without good reason) really needs to take a long hard look at themselves.
