Single

I'm single and not ready for a full time relationship. Why do people feel the need to judge me on here? I don't want to ruin anyone's marriage

Hahaha ... yes ... ditto!!! 😂

Notice how their previous ones always ended because the women fell in love with them! 🤔🙄

I nearly had the opposite problem....

Seeing someone.... they said that they were ending their marriage.
I said I was sorry to hear that however our relationship would not change, ie increase in any way, never heard from them again.

A few first meetings men have said that previous ones had ended as 'she' wanted too much, fell in love with him.

I said that will not happen with me. I think it had burst a few egos as I have never seen any of them again!

Enjoy :-)

Either way - if you are getting hassled for being single then it’s no bother to list yourself as ‘married’ on your profile.
Profile readers are not actual friends as yet...nobody needs to know all of the details. A profile need only give an overview for initial attraction purposes. It doesn’t need actual specifics or your actual status or life history.

On a different note, I haven't seen any dating site for singles that allows a married person to create profile. Married people are not welcome there.Period.

We all are human, with flaws, weaknesses, temptations, and we do judge others on various levels all the time, however some of us are very good in hiding that.

To the OC - best to be clear about what you are looking for from the first message.

"Shag and let shag, discreetly!"

I think it is hard for some people to understand ( especially my Mother ) that being single in your late forties is actually really liberating and good fun.

We all judge it is human nature.
We are judging as soon as we open someones profile.
We judge on their messages or response if any
We judge on their picture and age
It is inherent and subconscious whether we are aware of it or not
It's life

I’m married. I would never connect with a single IE for the simple reason (in my head) that I want him to feel he as if he has as much at stake to lose as I do. That’s not in a ‘he may fall more heavily than me’ scenario but simply an awareness of what we can / cannot do and where we can / cannot go. which is likely to mirror my own thoughts. It’s just easier!

I get that there are single people on here, and that’s fine. As long as they’re open and honest about that, and those they meet are ok with if, so what!

I can see that for some having a single IE would work for reasons laid out by previous commenters. No judging here, just not my own choice. Each to their own. Stay safe. ..

"I wouldn't judge"

Well sweetie you just have! 🙄🤣

Each to their own. You cheat on your husband. I don't judge you for that.

I am not single and as much as I wouldn’t judge any single person on here as they may have their reasons; I would be sceptical on why they choose a site meant for married people seeking out affairs and not other generic dating sites. I for one wouldn’t want any one single to hit me up. It’s too risky. I
Often think some single guys / or ladies on here just want to experience being with a married person as they often say “ it’s not hassle to maintain the relationship “

If your intention is not to ruin anyone's marriage then you don't have to worry too much and if anything goes wrong then it won't be your fault.

Although you might meet someone that you would fall for without even knowing and that's when it starts getting complicated.

Being single or attached is a blessing as long as you are happy with it so make the most of it.
