Yes sometime I do but I push through as if I agree to meet someone I should had least have the courtesy to follow it through. But yes sometimes it’s scary.

It’s always the initial meeting that can be quite nerve racking, contradicting...
However if the person you are meeting is right, its worth it. You won’t regret it.
You have to be quite sure about that person to arrange the meeting? If in doubt , cancel the arrangement asap.

Go for it, we’re all here for the same thing and highly likely both parties will be nervous and trying too hard to impress on the first meet!

So I've changed my profile name as suggested by Teicu. Let's see how that goes. Thanks for the advice and help

Perhaps you can try and deal with it as you would anything else that scares and excites you, try and go for it! Perhaps talk through the date with your IE and see if he/she can put some of your anxieties to rest.

My top tip is to psych yourself up next before you get there - put on a song really loudly that makes you feel like you can do anything; makes you feel confident and sexy.

Hope to do go for it!

@AAGilfan

You had a lucky escape there! Imagine the fallout if it had come to light.

This is a perfect example of why travelling a long way for a meeting and / or to an area you cant explain being in at the time is very risky. The longer and further you travel the more chance of something unexpected happening and of being found out.

Its just not worth it.

Dancing in the Rain's comment reminded me of the time I DID get flashed by a camera when I had been on a tryst and was driving back at an unearthly time of the morning (rest of family away at time!). Fortunately it was me who received the notification as car is in my name but given the time was a highly unusual one and the location somewhere where I would have had no excuse to be then it was a might relief to be able to quietly deal with it and take my medicine of a speed awareness course.... Fortunately I am a cautious driver. The other worry is, if you have an older car, that car breaking down at the wrong time in the wrong place.... fortunately that has not happened to me other than on a day time meet when I was in an area which was on the way to where I said I was going to be.....

Trust your instinct when it comes to thinking about a first meet. Make sure that it is a public place too. As it has been put before, you need a reason to be there. You never know who you might see, or be seen by!

I am always nervous about a first date. If I wasn't I would be very concerned.

First time I cheated on partner I actually cried on way home as I was disappointed in myself for cheating on her. Then I get home to more misery, hate and abuse and thought you know what, I’m gonna try again........and I here I am.

I always have a reason to be where I go to... I always worry about things like a speeding ticket etc..which I can't explain away.

First meeting is nervous..but as someone else said, it's just a chat over a drink. I offer a first date role play service 😉🤣🤣
